Richard
Palmer was presented with the Agronomist of the Year award by Georgina
Clayton of DuPont at the Farm Business Food and Farming Industry Awards
held at the Houses of Parliament on Friday 10th December and hosted by
James Paice, Minister of Agriculture. The Agronomist

He went on to say “It is nearly a year since founding partner Michael Smith died from malignant melanoma. I would like to dedicate this award to Michael. Without him Farm Vision would not be where it is today. Michael was a great friend as well as a brilliant business partner.” Afterwards one of the judges commented to Richard, “You were a worthy winner. During the interview you showed how you dealt with day to day issues and offered practical agronomic solutions, striving to maintain the best outcome but also ever mindful of what was coming forward in the future.
